hi,  I  had  recently  travelled  to  Haridwar  and  had  visited  several  temples  including  the  Vaishno  Devi  temple.  From  there  we  went  to  Pawan  Dham  and  on  the  same  road  I  came  across  a  new  temple  (which  we  just  saw  from  outside)  which  had  2  big  monster  sort  of  faces  near  the  entrance..the  temple  i  think  had  a  cave  sort  of  appearance..can  u  please  tell  me  the  name  of  the  temple?  I  am  writing  an  article  and  would  like  to  know  the  name...thank  u

You  can  get  the  easy  Local  Transport  from  Bus  stand  and  har  ki  pori  for  rishikesh  it  will  cost  you  rs  20  per  person  and  for  a  local  Cab  will  cost  you  RS  500  for  both  ways

Yes  you  can  perform  the  last  rites  or    the    departed    soul    in  Haridwar.  The  place  is  "Har  Ki  Pauri".  Many  people  do  the  same.  you  will  get  priest  for  the  last  rites  available  there.  these  rites  are  usually  done  infront  of  Ganga  Mandir  in  Har  Ki  Pauri  in  Haridwar.

Hi!Its  difficult  to  find  non-veg  food  in  main  Haridwar  that  is,  near
Har-ki-paudi  but  you  can  find  a  lot  of  places  4-5Kms  away  from  here.  For
example,  there  is  Broadway  in  Jwalapur  and  there  is  County  inn  (about
5kms  away  on  the  route  to  Dehradoon)

which  is  the  nearest  airport  in  haridwar  &  how  far  is  haridwar  from  Dehradun?

Haridwar  is  about  60  Kms  from  Dehradoon;  about  1  hr  30  min  travel  time
by  road.  Nearest  airport  is  Jolly  Grant  which  is  40  Kms  from  Haridwar
and  20  Kms  from  Dehradoon.  The  airport  however  is  only  connected  to
Delhi.
