Hi, I am originally from West Bengal but was staying in Mumbai for the last eight years. It is the commercial capital of India and is a vibrant city with a lot of sightseeing options. Most people like to enjoy the weekend and hence in and around a lot of places like Mahabaleshwar, Matheran, Lonavala has become very popular. Also people goes on pilgrimage to Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Kolhapur and the very quiet hill station Panhala etc. I have a good knowledge of these places and can make your stay memorable. I will be able to guide visitors to places of the interest. And the most important I am very keen in providing the best service within the budget of the visitors.

Hi,
I  suggest  you  go  to  Mahabaleshwar  and  find  a  hotel  which  offers  in  this  price  range  (ie.  1000  to  1500  per  night).  There  are  a  lot  of  hotels  /  cottage  accommodations  which  are  not  listed  in  any  website.  Most  people  (travelling  from  Mumbai  to  Mahabaleshwar  /  Lonavala)  go  there  and  find  a  hotel  on  their  own.  If  you  can  negotiate,  then  they  will  even  lessen  the  prices.

Hi,
I  want  to  come  there  by  18-dec-2007.  and  my  budget  is  750-1000rs.  please  suggest  me  good  hotels.
18-dec  to  20-dec  is  it  a  peak  season  and  how  is  the  whether  at  that  time.....plz  reply
replied by CityGuide: mayuri on Oct 11, 2007 04:00 PM
Hi  Jimmy,
You  will  not  get  any  hotels  in  this  range  from  18/20th  Dec'07  as  it  is  the  peak  season  (rates  are  hiked  up  for  Christmas).  Hotels  there  range  from  1500  and  above  per  room  per  night  during  the  season  time;  but  these  rates  are  likely  to  change  for  December.  Moreover,  some  hotels  also  have  a  compulsory  meal  supplement  during  season  /  festival  times.

It  will  be  very  chilly  in  Mabahaleshwar  at  that  time.  Be  sure  to  carry  some  warm  clothes  with  you.

Regards,

Hi,
This  is  a  decent  hotel  in  Mahabaleshwar.  The  rooms  are  very  nice  and  clean.  The  service  over  there    is  immaculate  and  people  are  very  helpful  and  cooperative.  Food  is  good.  All  in  all  you  will  have  a  very  nice  time  staying  in  this  hotel.  It  is  still  raining  but  comparatively  lesser  now.  It  is  a  good  time  to  go  there  specially  as  the  climate  is  very  pleasant  and  you  can  also  enjoy  the  various  sightseeing  points  there  like  Arthur's  Seat  Point,  Echo  Point,  Elphinstone  Point,  Krishna  Valey,  Venna  Lake  etc.

Hi,
Some  options  in  Mahabaleshwar    are  as  follows:
1.  Hotel    Grand    Place,    Mahabaleshwar    is    a    good    hotel    which    will    cost    approximately    Rs.2000/-    per    night    and    it    has    all    the    above    mentioned    facilities    and    a    swimming    pool    also.
2.  Hotel    Pratap    Heritage,    Mahabaleshwar's    newest    hotel,    a    Govt.    approved    2    star    is    superbly    located    within    easy    reach    of    everything    yet    tucked    into    a    quite    side    street    off    the    main-market,    unaffected    by    the    noise    of    the    city    traffic.    Add    to    this,    the    luxury    and    convenience    of    the    Hotel    itself    with    its    lavishly    appointed    rooms,    each    a    model    of    elegant    contemporary    style    commanding    a    panoramic    view    of    the    surroundings    Ã‚–    A    uniquely    exotic    yet    relaxing    experience    at    the    mountain    top!    It's    a    beautifully    perfected    combination    of    impeccable    service    and    superb    cuisine.    The    ambience    of    the    resort    was    quite    good    coupled    with    excellent    service.    The    resort    staff    was    extremely    cordial    and    accommodating    -    that    was    a    very    nice    feature    of    the    resort.    They    would    always    remind    of    the    breakfast/lunch    timings;    the    service    was    highly    personalised.    The    room    was    fantastic    -    done    up    very    nicely.
3.  Executive  Inn  -  One  of  the  best  hotels  located  close  to  Mahabaleshwar  railway  station.  You  can  negotiate  attractive  packages  with  them.  It  has  a  swimming  pool,  spacious  rooms,  hot/cold  water  facilities,  play  area  for  children  etc.  The  hotel  is  good  especially  for  people  looking  for  a  very  a  relaxed  holiday.  So  peaceful,  you  could  hear  the  birds  in  the  night.

how  is  ramsukh  hotel  maharaja  room  amenities  ?  worth  the  price  ?  Any  better  recommendations  in  same  price  range  ?
replied by CityGuide: mayuri on Jul 26, 2007 09:51 AM
The  amenities  provided  in  the  Maharaja  Suite  of  Ramsukh  hotel  is  worth  the  price.  The  Maharaja  and  Ixora  suites  comes  with  amenities  such  as  Personal  Steam,  Jacuzzi  (1000  liters),  Running  Hot  &  Cold  Water,  Split  A/c,  Wide  screen  T.V.,  C.D.  Audio  System,  Speaker  Phone  with  direct  dialing  facility,  Microwave  Oven,  Tea/Coffee  Maker  and  other  lavish  accompaniments.

Valley  View  Resort  is  also  a  good  option.  But,  this  cannot  be  compared  with  Ramsukh  Resorts  as  this  is  the  best  hotel  in  Mahabaleshwar.  For  further  queries  please  feel  free  to  write  back.

Hi,
Brightland  is  a  good  hotel  but  unfortunately  it  remains  closed  during  the  rains.  You  can  try  Executive  Inn  for  the  above  dates  specified.  It  has  got  all  the  amenities  that  a  three  star  hotel  should  have  namely  swimming  pool,  TV,  room  service,  laundry,  telephone  facilities  in  the  room  etc.
