Hi, I am originally from West Bengal but was staying in Mumbai for the last eight years. It is the commercial capital of India and is a vibrant city with a lot of sightseeing options. Most people like to enjoy the weekend and hence in and around a lot of places like Mahabaleshwar, Matheran, Lonavala has become very popular. Also people goes on pilgrimage to Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Kolhapur and the very quiet hill station Panhala etc. I have a good knowledge of these places and can make your stay memorable. I will be able to guide visitors to places of the interest. And the most important I am very keen in providing the best service within the budget of the visitors.

We  are  two  russian  journalists  who  will  spend  a  day  in  Mumbai  before  flying  back  to  Moscow  after  the  airshow  in  Bangalore.  Could  you  please  advise  some  places  of  interest  to  see,  shopping  centers  to  buy  modern  clothes  as  well  as  local  souvenirs  and  reliable  restaurants  to  try  indian  ciusine.  Thank  you.  Sergey  and  Maxim
asked by Sergey on Feb 01, 2007 03:04 PM
Hi  Sergey,Mumbai  has  got  a  lots  of  interesting  shopping  malls  which  will  give  you  good  platform  to  shop  like  the  phoenix  in  lower  parel, cross  road  near  mahalaxmi,Inorbit  in  Goregaon,Shoppers  stop  at  mulund, andheri  &  bandra.Bandra  is  very  famous  for  shopping  at  hill  road  &  linking  road  too, these  will  give  you  a  chance  for  good  variety  of  choices  at  very  cheap  rates. You  can  even  try  with  Globus  in  Bandra. The  above  mentioned  list  goes  for  Mumbai-south  &  wsetern  area,if  u  r  looking  out  for  Mumbai  central  side,i  think  Mulund  will  be  a  good  option  with  Nirmal  Lifestyle  &  R  Mall  there.Coming  to  good  restaurants  helping  you  in  Indian  cuisine,i  think  Taj  President  &  Taj  mahal  in  apollo  bunder(mumbai  south),Itc  Sheraton  in  lower  parel  &  Tendulkars  in  Mumbai  south  again  will  be  the  best  option  i  can  suggest.
