Hi, I am originally from West Bengal but was staying in Mumbai for the last eight years. It is the commercial capital of India and is a vibrant city with a lot of sightseeing options. Most people like to enjoy the weekend and hence in and around a lot of places like Mahabaleshwar, Matheran, Lonavala has become very popular. Also people goes on pilgrimage to Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Kolhapur and the very quiet hill station Panhala etc. I have a good knowledge of these places and can make your stay memorable. I will be able to guide visitors to places of the interest. And the most important I am very keen in providing the best service within the budget of the visitors.

How  far  is  thana  from  borivali?
I  am  staying  at  Airoli, which  place  should  I  getdown  BORIVALI  or  BCT?  i  am  planning  to  hire  a  taxi.
asked by Shirish on Mar 06, 2007 11:38 AM
Hi  Shirish,
the  distance  between  thane  &  borivali  is  about  25-30  kms.I  suggest  you  to  get  down  at  borivali, take  a  bus  from  there  to  thane  and  again  another  bus  from  thane  to  airoli. The  buses  u  will  have  to  check  will  be  the  MBMT  bus  from  borivali  whereas  a  NMMT  bus  from  thane  for  airoli.Let  me  tell  their  frequency  is  prett  good  Apart  from  bus  u  can  come  by  train  too  but  that  will  not  be  very  feasible  due  to  different  lines  this  city  belongs  to.

Can  u  please  tell  me  about  the  recent  developments  in  industries  in  mumbai.PLease  help  with  the  industrial  developments  in  mumbai  since  2000.thank  you....
asked by aditi on Mar 03, 2007 12:11 PM
Hey  Aditi,
If  i  have  to  talk  abt  the  recent  developments  in  industries  in  mumbai  since  2000,there  can  be  a  autobiography  being  printed  on  tht  content.i  think  it  will  be  much  better  if  we  can  decide  upon  the  specific  industrial  streams  where  u  r  looking  out  for  developments. The  most  prominent  factor  which  i  think  that  came  across  was  the  privatisation  seen  in  the  aviation  sector  or  even  the  developments  seen  in  terms  of  infrastructure  i.e.  the  roadways  n  railways. But  m  sure  this  will  be  very  vague  if  u  r  not  looking  out  something  in  the  travel  sector...So  i  think  it  will  be  much  better  if  we  can  focus  upon  some  specific  factors  in  this  world  of  industrialisation.
