Dear  Karan,  Nainital  is  the  main  hill  resort  in  Kumaon.  The  weather  will  be  15degree  and  0degree  in  winter.Kathgodam  is  situated  on  the  banks  of  the  Gaula  river.Situated  close  to  Kathgodam  are  beautiful  temples  called  'Sheetla  devi'  and  'Kalichaud'.From  Kathgodam,  mountain  roads  lead  to  tourist  destinations  like  Nainital,  Bhimtal,  Sattal,  Mukteshwar,  and  Almora.
Nainital  is  connected  to  National  Highway  No.  87.    Regular  roadways  buses  run  from  Delhi,  Agra,  Dehradun,  Haridwar,  Lucknow,  Kanpur  &  Bareilly  daily  .  Beside  this  luxury  coaches  are  available  from  Delhi  for  this  place.  Air:  Pant  Nagar  is  the  nearest  airport  located  at  a  distance  of  72  kms.  From  Pant  Nagar  take  a  bus  or  hire  a  taxi  to  reach  Nainital.  Rail:  Kathgodam,  35  kms  away  is  the  closest  railway  station.  It  connects  Nainital  with  Delhi,  Agra,  Bareilly,  Lucknow  and  Kolkata  by  regular  and  express  trains.Road:Nainital  is  connected  by  road  to  most  important  cities.  Regular  buses  ply  between  Delhi  (304  km),  most  of  which  departing  from  ISBT  Anand  Vihar  and  taking  between  eight  to  ten  hours.  Taxis  and  buses  also  ply  between  Kathgodam  and  Haldwani

Cable  Car  Ride  to  Snow  View  Point:-It  is  a  05  minutes  ride  starting  from  mall  road  to  snow  view  point  by  cable  car.  From  top  of  the  hill  you  can  have  a  view  of  Nanda  Devi  &  Trishul  Ranges  of  Himalayas.
Horse  Riding:-Horse  riding  is  another  important  attraction  for  tourists  in  Nainital.  Horses  can  be  hired  at  mallital.  Several  tourist  use  horses  as  their  transport  mode  to  visit  the  different  peaks  of  Nainital.You  should  stay    2  nights  Nainital,  2  nights  Ranikhet.  2  nights  bhimtal.
I  will  suggest  you  to  go  by  Road.  Hire  Indica  or  Innova  to  make  your  journey  comfortable.  As  it  will  help  you  to  view  sightseeing  and  the  places  around  nainital.
Indica  cost  for  6  nights  7  days:  200  kms  per  day  x  7  x  6.5  Rs.  Per  KM.=  Rs.  9100/-  Approx.  +  150x  7  =1050/-  (Driver)=Total  cost  for  cab:  Rs.  10150/-,  due  to  off  seasons  Hotel  will  be  available  at  low  cost.  and  for  6  nights  it  will  cost  you  :12000/-  for  a  couple  with  Break  fast  and  Dinner.

Hi!  At  that  time  tempareture  will  be  round  about  19  degree  celcious.  First  you  reach  kathgodam  from  delhi    by  train.  The  train  details  are:-Train  No.-5013,  Train  name:-Ranikhet  express,  Dep  time:-21:55,  Arr  time:-5:45.Then  you  go  to  nainital  from  kathgodam  ,  take  a  taxi  or  bus  from  kathgodam  railway  station  up  to  nainital  (  tallital  bus  stand  ).Spend  at  least  three  days  in  nainital  for  enjoy  ,  feel  and  grab  the  scenic  view  for  life  time.  If  you  want  to    visit  ranikhet  ,  then,  hire  a  car  from  tallital  bus  stand  (  private  cars  are  frequrently  up  down  in  that  particular  route  )  ,  you  just  ask  him  and  hire  any  car,  or  take  bus  form  tallital  bus  stand  up  to  ranikhet,  fares  are  nominal,  between  100  to  200.Ranikhet  is  also  a  beautiful  place  in  that  region.In  my  point  of  view  ,  you  must  spend  two  days    in  ranikhet.  In  baijnath  ,  actually  baijnath  is  famous  for  a  temple  .  its  a  little  bid  good  place  too.  but  spend  one  day  over  there  is  enough.

Dear  Karan,  As  per  your  enquiry  ,  kindly  check  these  hotels  with  detail.
As  my  opinion  Hotel  Silverton  and  Alka  both  are  good  hotel  and  the  scenic  view  is  good  from  the  hotel.  
1.ALKA  THE  LAKE  SIDE  HOTEL:-
60  kms.  from  Pantnagar  Airport;
40  kms.  from  Kathgodam  Railway  Station;
1/2  km.  from  Tallital  Bus  Stand.
2.SWISS  HOTEL:-
70  kms  from  Pant  Nagar  Airport;
40  kms  from  Kathgodam  Railway  Station;
3  km.  from  Tallital  Bus  Stand.
3.HOTEL  SILVERTON:-
70  kms.  from  Pantnagar  Airport;
34  kms  from  Kathgodam  Railway  Station;
1/2  km,  from  Talli-tal  Bus  Stand.
As  i  know  ,  distance  between  baijnath    to  nainital  is    about  23  Kms.    The  temple  complex  of  Baijnath  was  constructed  by  the  Katyuri  kings.

Hi  Modi!There  are  two  ways  to  go  to  nainital  from  delhi,  first  one  is  take  a  bus  from  'Anand  Vihar  Bus  terminal'  .bus  timing  is  7:30  ,  9:30,  and  11:30  (  delhi  to  haldwani  ),  but  these  are  non  a/c  bus  ,  charge  would  be  152  per  person  up  to  haldwani.Then  hire  a  car  from  haldwani  to  nainital  ,  charge  would  be  50  per  person.  Second  option  you  have  ,  go  to  kathgodam  by  train  take  a  bus  from  their  for  nainital  or  hire  a  car  for  go  to  nainital.  There  is  only  one  star  catagory  hotel  but  not  five  star  ,    which  is    'Manu  Maharani  ',  tariff  is  around  5000-7000  INR.  For  more  information  on  hotels  &  for  booking  you  can  refer  to  indiahotelreview.com.

Hi!  The  climate  of  Nainital  is  regulated  by  the  lake  here  which  showers  rain  almost  every  afternoon..The  best  time  for  visitors  to  visit  Nainital  and  its  beautiful  sights  is  to  visit  during  the  months  beginning  from  April  to  the  month  ending  October.  The  interval  period  is  June  to  September-when  there  is  torrential  rains  in  Nainital.

Hi  Madhav!  You  can  get  a  stunning  view  of  the  Nanda  Devi  and  other  mountains  situated  on  the  border  of  Tibet.  You  can  reach  this  peak  by  trekking  and  also  by  the  help  of  horses  and  mountain  ponies.  The  major  attractions  in  nainital  are:-
1.Snow  view  Â–  To  the  north  east  of  the  city.  This  place  can  be  accessed  by  a  variety  of  modes  Â–  Chair  lift  or  Ropeway;  horses  or  mountain  ponies  and  also  on  foot.  the  suggested  time  for  visiting  this  place  is  during  the  months  of  October  and  November.
