To take a break from the busy schedule one should come to the heaven called Matheran, which is the nearest hill station to Mumbai at about 100 km. One can reach reach matheran either by road or railways in both ways it is comfortable. By road on can have a conjures images of a world apart - dotted by innumerable visions of scenic splendor, away from the maddening crowds of the city, unpolluted by industry or power driven vehicles. One should not miss the adventurous ride up to the top of the hill station in the world's smallest gauge commercial train - one of the last mini trains in the world.
