Built by the Portuguese over 200 years ago, The Old Courtyard Hotel is center around a cobbled courtyard with an ancient mango tree. The hotel has only eight guest rooms, varying in size but all charmingly decorated. All the rooms face the courtyard with bathrooms attached (hot and cold running water). Rooms are done in period style four-poster beds, wooden floors and ceilings, old furniture. Once you step outside, there are the Jewish spice shops, Chinese fishing nets, a Dutch palace and India's oldest church right on your doorstep.
