The Wildflower Hall was once the residence of the British Commander Chief, Lord Kitchener and is now a luxury Oberoi resort. The Resort has 85 well appointed suites and guest rooms overlooking magnificent views. There are a total of 80 Premier Rooms, 3 Deluxe Suites and 1 Luxury Suite. The Deluxe and Luxury Suites are more elaborate and plush offering more facilities than the Premier Rooms. This luxury resort has many a desirable facilities to offer. There are 2 dining areas; Lutyens The Indian Restaurant and the Restaurant and the Conservatory. Lutyens specializes in cuisines of the North West Frontier, fusion of the Raj and Himachali delicacies. It reflects an old world charm with its elegant woodwork, arched windows and a cozy fireplace. The Restaurant and The Conservatory is an all day dining restaurant with a selection of Continental and Coffee shop specialties. The bar offers a choice selection of wines, spirits and cigars. For fun and relaxation, the Card Room is a warm and inviting place with baize covered tables and individualized muted lighting. The Library is also located here conveniently next to a cozy fireplace and offers an extensive array of books. There is also the Billiards Room located at the lobby level with upholstered high benches. Finally, there is the Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree, which overlooks the serene ambience of the Himalayas. It offers non clinical programmers for relaxation and beauty and the treatments incorporate the use of Ayurvedic principles of holistic health maintenance, herbal treatments and aromatherapy.
