It is arguably the best and the most popular hotel near the railway station area in Paltan Bazaar sheerly because one gets quality service for less. The balconies on the upper floors look over the railway stations towards the hills far behind a majestic sight indeed. Else one can enjoy the hustle bustle of the market place below while sipping at a cup of tea. The rooms are well furnished and clean. The vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor is another feature worth mentioning. Good vegetarian food is served again for less. The ambience is classic. In short Mayur would be the best recommend for anyone planning to visit Guwahati without having to tax their pockets much. |
