| On arrival we were impressed by this hotel and the views it had to offer. The rooms were nice and the balconies looked out onto tea plantations.
The food was good with a decent choice and all at very reasonable prices. Only thing was the over attentiveness of the waiting staff. This was highlighted by the fact we were one of maybe two parties staying at the resort. It is quite dificult to enjoy your meal when there are three pairs of eyes watching your every move and poised like a coiled spring to spoon or pour your next helping!
Like the previous reviewer we also had the loud music coming from the village below. It would start around 6pm and go on until the early hours. This along with the building work that started at 7am each morning spoiled our stay at Autumn Trees. They were using a compressor to spray paint in the room next door and it sounded as if it were in our room. We called reception and they did come to stop the noise but this was followed by some obviously irate discussions (at top volume) |
