| If the service can be improved, your stay in Mount view can be made memorable. It is a small clean resort, except for honeymoon suits none of the rooms have balcony. The backyard can be kept clean. The room which I stayed 102; if you open the window the scene is pathetic. They can keep few flower pots and keep it clean. Once you are in the room, it is like a jail. But inside the room is neat and clean. The dining hall is kept clean and beautiful. The food is good and the charges are reasonable for a bangalorean. Once you can arrange the stay in Kodai, for the first timers, almost every taxiwala is a guide or if you like to go in groups, there are plenty of 'travels' who takes care such needs. Attached to KPN travels itself there are plenty of privatewalas arranges such tours. Here is one eg. Rajas Tours and Travels Tel.242422/23, 244223. You can also bargain. There is no auto available in Kodai. The standard minimum rate within 2 kms is Rs.60. Most of them are polite and good. Hotel Mount view is 2 kms from |
