| It was our annual holiday trip & we wanted a nice calm, peaceful place away from the bustle of the city & Munnar was exactly what we wanted. ItÂ’s a beautiful place full of tea gardens, forests & greenery all around to relax you. The drive from cochin airport to the resort about 130 kms was covered in 3 hours (we had a very good driver Mr Kumar who had good knowledge about the place). The resort itself is very beautiful & has a cozy & peaceful atmosphere & is well maintained. They also have a ramp on the sidewalk for the physically challenged. The climate at nights is very cold so much so, that the rooms donÂ’t have a fan (you would not need them anyways) & have a heater for your comfort. The resort has beautiful flowers & has well landscaped gardens. They also have a lovely rose garden & the roses are so huge that they are the size of your palm!!!. For the amount they charge you, the food is not all that great. The resort has snooker, carom & table tennis for sports activities & an ayurvedic massage centre.
