| The hotel has a great ambience - wood floors, wood panelling and all. You cannot call it a resort though, in the strict sense of the word. My definition of a resort being a place where there is a lot more to do than just sleep in the rooms. Talking of the rooms - the one I stayed in was spartan, with old mattresses and a generally a little musty.
The food is good - try their fish steak, which a decent meal by itself. The complementary breakfast a little disappointing with choice of only one Indian item and bread, butter, jam and egg for those inclined. I would have expected a little more variety. At least they can ask you how you would like the egg. Then most disappointingly there is no alcohol in the premises - the room boy promised to get me a quarter but got caught up with other things (you have to shell Rs.30/- for his auto charge to the liquor shop). On a cold night I had nothing to keep me warm!!
Having said all this, I must say the service is exemplary. Very friendly staff every where you go.
