"Good Budget Hotel but disappointing cancelation policy"

Pals Inn is a good clean hotel at a reasonable cost. I have stayed hear in 2005 for 6 weeks and again in August 2005. My only concern is that we planned to retun to the hotel after a week and left some belongings with the manager. Unfortunatly, we had to cancel with 24hrs notice. We were told there would be no charge by the night manager. However, upon returning to collect our belongings we were told that we were required to pay the full cost of the rooms (2) or they would not return our belongings. I found this to be very unprofessional. In the end we left our belongings as they were not valuble. However, I'm sure this is a unique experience and apart from this concern the overall experience was satisfactory
