| Trip to hell!
Where do I start? This was the worst hotel Ii have ever been to.
We made the booking in May 2007 for a stay in December 2007 and reconfirmed 2 days before our arrival date.
We got to the hotel at about 12.30pm on the scheduled date and were told they don’t have any rooms for us as there was a drainage problem. We were offered an alternative hotel (rated 3*) “near” the city. Obviously we refused this offer as this wasn’t equivalent and we were not happy to accept as we had paid for - a 4* beach hotel.
After our discussions, the management refused to talk to us unless we accepted their offer, and left us waiting in the lobby. We had 3 children in our group and my mother was ill and this made the situation worse. After an hour of waiting we realised there were several other families, about 30 other people, in the same situation. Having spoken to these irate travelers, we realised that the hotel management had been lying to all of us. Some people had been told there was drainage |
