| Unfortunately I had to check into the ripon palace. For double room they charged Rs. 3,300. Food, tea and other things are not really cheap at this hotel. But money has not that importance. I have paid at one hotel in Mumbai Rs. 1,200 and must say, that one was 1000% better than this so called 2/3 Star. They gave us the room towards street side. In other words, we didnt close the eyes that night. We could have thrown out Rs. 5,000 for one night and could have slept on the street. This is the feeling I have/ had. For food we ordered at nearly 9pm, it took them more than 1,5 hours and finally I told them please dont send I will get soemthing from the Market. Then we got the food but only the half of what we ordered. The rest to follow in 5mins. Indian 5mins by the way. Receptionist were very self confident and knew everything better. When I called to tell them that the room is abnormally loud affected by the traffice, they wanted to send me someone into the room to check, and then someone came and said, yes sir |
