| The Travancore Heritage is a beautiful property located at Chowara in Trivandrum district. Around 30-45 minutes drive from the Trivandrum international airport the property has rooms as Kerala traditional cottages as well as in the form of usual hotel rooms. The accommodation is air conditioned and also quite spacious. The property has its own beach which is maintained hardly crowded and adjoins a fishing village which means that you can see the morning catch come in and the hustle bustle on the beach. The welcome is done in the traditional Kerala way and refreshing coconut water was offered on check in. A member of the front office accompanies the guest to the roomcottage and explains the amenities and also the resort services. Guests can use one of the two pools one of them being by the beach. The beach and the pools have lifeguards. August was a good time to visit as the resort was not crowded because it was the end of off season - prices were low because of this.
