Doing a search on IHR is easy. You need to simply type in city or hotel into the search box and hit the Enter on your
keyboard. For example if you type in a city say MUNNAR. The search result will list all the hotels of Munnar.
Or if you know the hotel name then you can type in the hotel name also. For example if you type in Devi Grand Hotel it will show you exact results.
Advanced Search
In the Advanced Search Option Page there is additional leverage of typing in the State, City as well as the Address. If you do not remember the address then using the first two options would list all the hotels of a particular city.
Partial search
In the partial search option when you do not remember the place or Hotel you can type in first few words to get an inkling of what you are searching. For example if you type in say “HARI” the result will show all the results (cities and hotels) containing that particular word
Searching DOs and DON'Ts
1. Double-check your spelling if you get no matches.
2. Avoid using common words like the, and, a, or of,.
3. IHR Searches are NOT case sensitive. All letters, irrespective of how you type them, will be understood by default as lower case. For example, searches for HYDERABAD and hyderabad will return the same results.
4. In case of more than one word give space of one character. You will not get the desired results if you write all the words without any space or put in more than a single space. For example:
Devi Grand Hotel: Correct
Devigrandhotel: Incorrect
Devi Grand Hotel : Incorrect
