1. Hi! To travel by train, the best option is to catch Howrah Kalka Mail which starts from Delhi at 10.30 pm and reaches Kalka early next morning. There is a connecting toy train from Kalka which takes five and half hours to reach Shimla. It would save a day. The other option is to catch Shatabdi Express which starts from New Delhi at 7.40 am and reaches Kalka at 11.40 am and connects train for Shimla. Thanks! Mohit Sharma Great Himalayan Travels
