By Air: Coorg can be reached via the two nearest airports, Mangalore airport, which is about 135kms away and Bangalore airport which is about 250kms away.
By Rail: Mysore is the nearest railway station to Coorg about 120kms away. The next option could be the stations of Mangalore and Hassan.
By Road: Coorg is well connected to all the major cities in Karnataka like Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Hassan. Regular busses run from these places to Coorg. There are two routes to reach Coorg from Bangalore, both about 250-260kms. The route via Mysore is more popular. The stretch after Hunsur is beautiful and the drive through the coffee plantations absorbing. The other route is via Neelamangala, Kunigal, and Channarayapatna.
