The best time to visit Darjeeling is in the month of April, May, October and November. April and May are the months of rain but during this time many flowers blossom making the place an absolute paradise. This time, many shrubs are in flower, particularly the rhododendrons. The rains which start by May end are heavy deluge making living conditions cold and lackluster.
