Rightly said by some eminent person that Darjeeling is “the Himalayan Heaven.” No doubt it is a place filled with a mystic aura and colourful surroundings. Greenery is omnipresent on this land. There is not a stretch of land in Darjeeling that is barren. On whichever side there are eye-soothing sights of the flora of Darjeeling-brilliant red rhododendrons, amiable and charismatic white magnolias, magnificent and splendid pines and lush green tea bushes covering the entire hill slope. Everywhere the view is attention grabbing. Speeding up streams, gasping gorges and gleaming lakes all around provides an ambiance loved by all.
