Gangtok has an energetic, active and great nightlife. There was a time when there were only cheap liquor bars in Gangtok but over the years many hotels, bars, pubs have come into existence making the nightlife happening in the city. Now Gangtok boasts a number of restaurants and bars. There are many lounge bars as well in the town.
