Roorkee – Roorkee is a small town situated near Haridwar. It is one of the main tourists’ attractions of Haridwar. This is a place where a branch of very renowned Indian Institute of Technology is there. On the periphery of the town you will find the Dargah of Allauddin. This well known Dargah is believed to have shaman powers and is venerated by both Hindus and Muslims.
Har Ki Pauri Ghat – This is also a very well known tourist attraction of Haridwar. This place was built by King Vikramaditya in the remembrance of his brother Bhartrihari.
