The main languages spoken in the land of Leh are Ladakhi and Purig. There is a small population of Tibetans also in the city. So that section of the population speaks Tibetan. Hindi is also spoken by a fairly good amount of people in the city. English is the official languages of the city and is spoken by the educated folks of the city.
