There are many religious places in the God fearing city of Manali. People are great believers of God here. The major religious places in the town are:
Temple of Hadimba Devi - This is a famous temple in Manali. Many people go to this temple day in and day out. Every year in the month of May there is a major festival. The temple is four-tiered and it has a pagoda shaped roof. The front doorway is engraved with figures and symbols. This lovely temple is situated in the heart of the city.
Tibetan Monastery - It is new-fangled and colourful. It is a pleasurable place to visit. It is well known for carpet weaving. Tourists buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts from here.
Dhungri Temple - The Dhungri temple is a four-storey building made of wood. It is situated in the middle of gorgeous wooded parkland, which is acknowledged as Dhungri Van Vihar. Every year in the month of May, there is a major fiesta at the temple, when sacrifices are carried out in honor of Hadimba.
