Lakshman Jhula
This Bridge is a chief attraction of Rishikesh. This bridge brings many tourists every year to this center. This iron bridge was built in the year 1929. This place is recognized by the ancient fable Ramayana. Ram’s brother Lakshman is believed to have crossed this bridge on jute rope and hence the name Lakshman Jhula. You can take pleasure of the spectacular surroundings and soothing breeze flowing over the river while standing on the bridge.
Ram Jhula
This is another major attraction of Rishikesh. Ram Jhula or Shivanand Jhula is close to the Lakshmana Jhula. Similar to Lakshmana bridge this suspended bridge is built between Shivanand Ashram and Sawarg Ashram.
