The local language of Srinagar is Kashmiri, although most locals are also conversant with Hindi, and Urdu. There is a small percentage of people who also speak Hindi and Urdu but most of the people in the city speak Kashmiri. English is the official language of the state and is spoken by the educated folks of the land.
